When speaking English you say Persian. When speaking Persian you say Farsi. When Speaking english you dont say I speak Francais, You say I speak French! In Chinese they dont actually say Chinese either, they have their own word. There's no reason to start calling it Farsi when speaking english after thousands of years of calling it Persian. Same with persian people, theyre known as Persian as well as Iranian. The language however, IS officially Persian.
