@adamslurch71 If I had the disposable income to do so I would have haha. For still being a teenager I have a lot of work ahead of me to reach that goal.
It was smart for Polaris to use Yanmar engines. Polaris's (proprietary) diesel atv engine always had problems.
Yanmar engines are very reliable and do not require much upkeep. Not as powerful as Kohler diesel engines of similar weight/size. However well worth having none the less.
The D-Polaris should also have a manual locking 4wd (no computer control). Diesel power is a little different when in 4wd.
polaris... U are doing these competitions, sport style. Not working style.

Do you know why the polaris is SO much lighter? Because it 80% plastic and 20% steel lol

The only advantage the ranger has over the kubota is the suspension and it's FDL.
There is no way the ranger diesel will out tow or haul the Kubota and it's mechanical transmission.
The Ranger will shread its' belt (among other things) long before the finish line with the loads the kubota can carry.
The D-ranger is nice but it's upkeep will require a small fortune.
Add a FTI hydromatic cvt, tougher suspension, and perhaps a 6wd version to the D-polaris and then i will consider it.
