Nasty but helpful comments from a wheelie master to TS, our resident wheelie novice on the Triumph Speed Triple. Kids, don't try this at home - the lounge room isn't big enough. Also check out our video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urRCtYGbntc

  • ok, I have a Speed Triple my2010. In 1 gear when I totally open gas engine rpm are almost lazy to reach 5000 then my bike have a little wheelie but nothin more. Why??

  • @cristianospeedtriple

he reckons its all the right combination of timing, pulling on the bars, snap the throttle, the right revs. i've only learnt enough to pop over a log off road and that took me a fair while to learn...

  • good boy, in james bonds words Question : What the hell do you think you are doing Bond

Answer : Keeping the British end up sir

  • good show, old bean. keep a stiff upper front wheel and all that, what?

  • Nice work, mate! I am a Triumph Speed Triple rider myself and hope to be able to Ton Up someday soon.

  • there was a pair of mad australians recently setting guiness book world records for monos with the bike on the rear wheel for the whole quarter mile, for top speed at the end.

standard mono was 230kmh at the end, the guy sitting on his handlebars managed 196kmh!

  • Still love your videos!!!

  • Xlnt assessment of new Triumph and what, in particular, keeps us hooked ;D

  • Nice work.

I hope to improve my baby monos soon on my Speed triple. I still have not had the courage to clutch it up yet.

  • yeah, we aren't a patch on the good riders but figured we'd do what we could with a more chilled out approach, makes a change to the metal and hard core music, although we kinda dig that too!

  • Cool video, nice riding & good editing!
