for Thai1959: for the food and drinks you see on the table, 1/2 bottle of Thai Whisky too, I paid 840bath!! I could not believe it but they did not forget anything on the bill.

By the way, the food was great :-)

Where is Loi Krathong? Looks like Isan Thailand or Laos.btw,That food looks gooood:-)

Hi Thai1959, Loi Krathong is the festival in November. The place we where is: Khuen Nam Prom, is about 60km south from Chaiyaphum, a nice lake there. If you want you can rent this "restaurant boat" and while eating you are cruising around the lake. The best you do, ist fly to Khon Kaen and from there hit south by car. Not many tourist and very nice places. At night, drive carefully!!! Here you meet Thailand as it is and you are not ribbed off like in Phuket or those other islands. For example:

I go to Kaeng Khro (Khok Kung) fot the month november to girlfriend. I wanna see this for sure. I will rent this boat and eat all that thai food :p...

I love Thailand and cant wait for go back.

Hi Joachim, yes it is and was a very nice place and we had great fun. The location was great, the food great too. You will have for sure a great time there. Yes Thai people are great and for sure if you meet the right persons. Wish you a great time and enjoy the land of smiling.

Thanks borry100! Nice video, enjoyed it very much. We were in a place like that last November when my wife and I were on our honeymoon. The place's called "Tad Tone reservoir" just outside of Chaiyaphum to the north. Great food but a little rugged to get to. The food here at Khuen Nam Prom looked good too, is it not? Anyhow, thanks for the info!!

Hi pbonger, yes the food was great and could not believe how cheap all was. The rent for the "boat" the food and the drinks for only Bath 850. Hope you will have a nice time too over there and congratulations for your marriage. Regards and have fun the next time again in Thailand, nice place to be.
