Very interesting. I have photos at the main depot where the 1990 Waynes were being parked at the end of the last school year. I remember when those were the newest subs you could ride on back when I was in middle school, before i graduated this year.. they were considered ancient. I wish I could get a could have got more photos of them before they were retired!
Do you know any information on the 95's being retired? I know the roof issues and all the Carpenter plaques.

there were a lot of 94 unitl the blue bird vision 09 replaced them all last year but there are only around 20 busses at our compound

@yellowbusguy There were a lot of 90s, 91s, and even a 92 at our compound. 9278 was in regular service until 1023 replaced it.

That lady is hilarious, she seems like she's very friendly. Nice video.
I never knew the IC would come with green ceilings? I always thought they were white. And the same with Blue Birds. And of course I think Thomas offered green ceilings in the late 90s maybe early 2000s and most buses Ive seen in real life from the 90s either have white ceilings or gray.

@MrWill1985 The interior is all a light blue color, the video is misleading.

Thanks sooo much! I'm from Jefferson County as well. Iv'e always wondered what the interior of a special needs bus with Kentucky specifications (especially an International IC) was like. I like how the a/c vents are at the front and back. They are not bulky and hanging from the ceiling like some older model Kentucky buses, like Miller Transportation has. I would love to see the interior of one of those Blue Bird Visions some time!

I saw an old 1990 Wayne in the video next to a CE200. I can't believer they are being sold off. Was it a 90 or a 91?

@dajara521 That was our only '91. These old buses are all beyond retirement age. They were given a new lease on life by the state because of equipment and cash shortages to keep the fleet big enough to cover all the runs. Even then we were short on buses this year. 85 new units are being brought in so the 90 and 91's should be retired for good.
