Es una pena(para nos los cubanos) que este "monstruo del piano" se conozca tan poco en la amada isla del autor de esta pieza,Gracias senor Tirino, siento mucho lecuona en sus manos.pero no solo.
Perfect! I'm supposed to play this piece soon , this is really going to be hard. Maybe not fully technique , but the dynamics , the feelings and emotions. The typical latino feeling! I won't make it :(
I remember playing this in Marching Band in Freshman yr high school-Malaguena I really liked it, but didn't quite sound like this brilliant piano here.
A different twist! He uses single notes when others use full octaves. He also uses a lot less pedal than others which gives him a sharper sound during the dramatic parts. A different but wonderful version.

i like his technique because it brings out a true Latin music. single notes, but very strong and full of strong emphasis and emotion.
