Unless the concept was used for only the central section of a city, with the residential areas on the outer rings, the offices on the inner rings, the stores and whatnot just barely off the edge of the outermost ring, and the agriculture and industry sections located in the suburbs and supplying said stores with goods from "behind". That way, residents could have access to both their jobs and product suppliers within a short distance of their homes (accounting for the clockwork motion, that is).

Jetpacks and other flying machines; maybe even an underground network... that works in sync with the rotation...

I think GPU is irrelevant when rendering in 3d applications. Nearly all calculation is done on the CPU. I think.

What Graphics card are you using?? What do you suggest a ATI? Nvidia Quadro 5000? or the GTX 580 or 690?

One problem. No car, trucks, or trains... how is the industry section going to get its goods anywhere? The stores would take forever to stock, and the agriculture section would go back to hand harvesting? Neat concept, but unworkable.
