Did you ever pray for the soul of someone who has died? Have you ever asked another to pray for you? Catholics do not worship saints; they ask saints to pray for them - to intercede on behalf of prayerful requests to God. Would you ask a heathen who does not pray to pray for you? or would you ask someone holy and close to God to pray for you? Catholics worship only the Holy Trinity. They venerate (highly esteem) the saints such as Mary, the Mother of Jesus, Joseph, Peter and Paul. Get it?
