this is a short piece of a much larger documentary called Lost Civilization -the Maya. How much was lost thru the ages,Mexican history is full of theft of historic documents and art,but is not just mexico,the alexandrian library was burn,the house of wisdom in baghdad
was torch down by the mongols,that destroy classic Islamic culture,When the Europeans come tho the american continent they were very young nations(and the american population salvage)specially Spain,they were afraid of new things,and they destroyed what they couldn't undestand,that was a great loss of knowledge,Russians were the ones that revived the interest for mayan culture,Many mexican codices that weren't destroy were taken out of the country and some of them end up in Europeans libraries(one of them in the trash can of an European librery because was mistaken for a Vietnam writing)Just a few of them survived.

i loved to talk about stories specially when it is history, but its sad to know that one of the greatest civilization in our world was just lost and seems mysterious..but i'm happy that some of our historian really want to unfold that mystery.. anyway thank you for answering my comment... its nice have a message from this intersting topic....

It's very interesting, Mayan winged god kakula was also worshiped by the Sumerians the first ever civilization. Sumerians, Mayans, Egyptions all believed that their gods go to star clusters after their death.

Ohh i see.. it is also posibble that they came in contact with aliens, because they surely can't do those images in the hieroglyphics if they didn't see those what they called gods..for me the lost of mayan civilization is very interesting, coz there migth be hidden clues that we can use in the future, especially in the coming "planet x"....
