  • Agreed! This is the fastest time EVER swam without those cheating suits. Hoogenband even had a bad start, meaning he could have gone faster.

  • This one is the REAL fastest 100m fs.

    Thanks for the video !

  • 'S werelds duurste / beste betaald?

  • The best swimmer freestyle of all time, not the best starter though.

  • As Remlosh said, the REAL 100m Free WR for 11 years..... now finally eclipsed by Aussie James Magnussen's 47.49 leading off the 4x100 relay @ Shanghai Worlds. Commiserations Pieter! :)

  • just a comparison his 2nd 50 is 24.68 and Lezak's 2nd 50 in beijing is 24.56 in the lzr suit+the race of his life

  • I agree with everything you said except the last part. Van Den Hoogenband always had bad starts, it was the weakest part of his races.

  • swimming would help you grow taller ?

  • @mc1703 I believe that was the 50 free not the 100. Credit to Popov though, he still is the Tzar of the sprints.

  • 23.16+24.68--------> that's the way to swim proly the fastest second 50 in history and i agree it's the true wr

  • @gnemick Hoogie 46'7 in 04 relay anchor, Zhang Lin 46'99 in 06 Asian games anchor
