This is my entry (or one of my entries) for Froomi's "One Sentence Contest" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSKad8...
Sub her here: http://www.youtube.com/user/Froomi
Okay, I had a long description but youtube sucks and it didn't make it's way up here.^^
Anyway, as said that's my entry. Quote is "Did you say it?" from Grey's Anatomy (Voice over of Episode 24 of Season 5) it's more of a question and no sentence but I think it's okay too, if not, tell me so, I got a million other quotes. ;-)
There exist four different categories and I wasn't sure where to put it but I decided to choose "Love sentences" as category because it's about love although the sentence is kind of sad.
I gave this video a lot of thought because the quote is something that has been stuck in my mind ever since I heard it the first time.
It's about bravery, getting up and saying something that will change your life. Not saying it won't help you but even if you know it you just can't say it and it would be great to have somebody asking you: Did you say it? (a little kick)
Did you tell the person you love that you love her? Did you say what you feel? Did you go there and made it? Did you?
About the editing... I like it. I think it fits otherwise I wouldn't have used it, right?
And I never rendered 15 seconds that long in my life... I had to render parts (6!!!) and put them together afterwards because SV was crashing all the time! So all in all I rendered these cute little 15 seconds about 2 hours... *lol*
Pride and Prejudice - everytime I start vidding it I fall for the beauty of this movie over and over again. This whole sun symbolism is awesome. I could go on about it a whole day... with the sunrise in the beginning and at the end of the movie and...okay, I'll stop it. Be prepared for some PP action^^
Grey's Anatomy - I kind of got back to that show... I even included the post-it. I HATE the post-it. Sweet scene no question but no marriage, nope... I write things on post-its all the time like "tidy up your room" and I don't do it, so where's the commitment? :-p No seriously, I liked the scene and I love the one when George knocks at Mer's door. He was so fallen for her and sooo adorable. And he didn't say it. That was the best thing I could do. I mean he died in epi 5x24 and he never really got to say it, right? He told Mer, he told Callie and Izzie, but it never worked out, he never got to say "I want to spend the rest of my life with you" and I think George is the one who deserved it the most (correction: after Meredith).
And this smile of Derek (I think KW (and CW) commented this epi and she said: And here's why we love McDreamy) isn't it beautiful how happy he is after he finally said it? Awww... I knew why I wanted to marry that guy once.^^
And the scene when Mer falls into the water... it's difficult to explain...hmmm, maybe you get it? *worried look*
What I wanted to mention: no Cristina/Burke or C/O scenes:-(. That ALWAYS happens and it's so sad, I love Sandra Oh's acting but she's always with the guys I just can't stand (I think I'll never get why she choose Owen) and well... I could have included a Mer/Cris scene but would have been way to much GA^^
Did I just ramble about GA that long?
Gossip Girl... I thought about making the whole vid about GG but decided against it since GG is too "fast" for this. It took Chuck sooo long to say these three words and I loved it but still it's Gossip Girl and they're not yet grown-ups who think about it that much. It means something to them but do they know what it means?
I guess nobody gets what I want to say... anyway I said it...;-)
GG is about "teenagers" and their high society life, I think they're not ready for "I want to spend the rest of my life with you" parts.
BUT the "Chuck got shot" scene fits the quote very well again. Right after they stole the engagement ring, he wanted to say it... He wanted to ask Blair and that's what counts for the quote.
Eventhough I think it was stupid, he's nineteen, I'm nineteen I wouldn't marry now, even if the guy was Chuck and McDreamy in one.^^ It's just too much
Song is from the German band "Wir sind Helden" it's their latest song "Alles" and it fitted the quote so well, I just had to use it! I mean... listen to it... isn't it the best melody for "thinking about saying something" plus "actions"? It's like telling the story of the quote before it gets out there and then... here it comes!
It's from the beginning and the last chord in the end is from the end, I did cut it together :-)
Sorry... I'll stop this whole bunch of crap right now... it's just... I'm not tired anymore!
