Blondy Euonymus Wintercreeper

Some 10 years ago Gus Bolwijn made a remarkable find. In a batch of Euonymus 'Sunspot' liners, he noticed one branch with exceedingly attractive leaves. Unlike Sunspot, with it's small yellow spot, this branch displayed a big splash of pleasing yellow and a thin dark green margin. The sport was cloned and after years of testing it proved to a beautiful, neat growing shrub with superb hardiness and sunburn resistance. Hence, the birth of Blondy To say Blondy is a European success is an understatement. You can find Blondy® euonymus prominently displayed in all the major garden centers.
