Good idea, but first try and fix what exists (especially those third-world country airports which are the butt of jokes), then try to build new infrastructure. Europe does have those shiny items (and it rises our pride in our continent as Europeans), but the taxation system stymies the economic growth which can come from such wonderful infrastructure. If we can fix that (and I am confident we will), we could just win the world...
I think our Government has expired I want my freedom back I want my children to not be pressed by this war on drugs it's a wart on us all! "Nixon started it he killed John Franklin Roosevelt his party of killers destroyed 'America, 'Ford worked for them also! Bankers are all criminals that work for the market, who are all criminals in line with the wall streat take over of our constitution in 'America and rightious government! 'They are all satanist that worship money!
We didnt vote for a damn thing. We had no choice in him getting to run for a 3rd term. That decision was totally out of the NYC voters hands. He went above our heads tossed his cash (as usual) & got his way period. What planet are you on, & when did you vote. Because that didnt happen.
BLOOMBERG is out of here! GOOD BYE BLOOMBERG! You are an ASS!
I'm all for rebuilding infrastructure, but its important to distinguish between good and bad programs. The program he mentions at 2:55(National Highway defense Act)DID connect America with a massive highway network;on the other hand, these highways were often (deliberately)built to displace, divide, and disenfranchise ethnic neighborhoods in major cities.like Urban Renewal, this became a means of "Negro Removal" by the US government. And lets not forget the implications of mass-suburbanization...
He is a good Mayor. We New Yorkers liked him so much we voted him in for a third term. There are only two terms so NYC is very fond of the positive changes he has brought our city.

We need 30 year fixed interest rates to be 2.5 % or less to survive this recession. Check out Fix Housing First.
