If you live in a non 4G area, would you go with the HTC Hero or the Evo4G. The Hero is way cheaper and you don't have to pay the extra $10/month. They came out with the Android 2.1 update and I've heard they're coming out with a Froyo (2.2) update for it. I think the updated software/firmware is supposed to speed up the Hero. What do you think?

@ymh786 I would still go with the Evo 4G, mostly because I really liked the large screen. The Hero is a nice device as well, so neither would be a bad choice.

it amazes me how much ppl are complaining and comparing PHONES! Jeeez there just PHONES!! Yes i would like this phone but there are more imporatant things in life. Thousand of sea animals are dying in the Gulf and here veryone else is complaining and comparing phones!

Philip,Are you okay? Did you seriously just mention that this phone is not worth the 10 extra bucks? You do realize that even with the 10 extra bucks, it still will be cheaper than any service out there that provides so much for that cost! Also, all I saw was the Apple product when you were demoing the wifi, but when it stopped, how do we know what "really" happened?

Aren't you outside the metro area? That could have a lot to do with your 'slow' speeds.
