charles minor write this song and the truth is Danny Eason caried Brooklyn on his back for years and his opportunity came to grow higher.. We need to be happy for him and be thankful the demons didn't drive him to Smoke and Drink!! I love you bruh! Always will be one of my favorite Danny Eason songs!! IMPOSTERS!!!!!!!!!!!! I am an original Brooklyn Youth Choir member (then we changed our name to Danny Eason and Abundant Life Youth Crusade Choir) and we use to sing this song back in 1993-94! And now there is an Abundant Life of Montreal???????? Noooooooo!!!!!! They done stole my heritage right from underneath me. Man, back in the day, girls could not even wear pants to rehearsal nor engagements. I miss those days with the purple robes. ORIGINAL ALL THE WAY BABY! Montreal?? I think not!
