lots of things wrong with this historical wise....like the fact Elvis had mousy brown hair and didnt dye it till after the film love me tender, he didnt wear those clothes on his first recording for sam phillips....but apart from that i forgive it looks and sounds good and that guy apart from his nose looks like EP !! I just hope Johnny Depp does him justice in the new film out next year when he plays Elvis in his last years??!!!

Johnny Depp as Elvis!? I could see him as Elvis circa the late 60's, but I can't really see him as older Elvis. I actually hope it doesn't get made, I hate that era of his life because that's what all the Elvis-haters use as there ammo. Elvis wasn't perfect by any means, but I'd much rather see him depicted in his prime...If I want a "warts & all" production I'll watch Elvis & Me...

I was thinking about that today. I hate to sound like an old man, but when I was a kid back in the late 80's shows had plots. Now it's all reality shows, and talent contests... I miss the good ol' days!

Certainly! This show is vastly underrated, and one of my favorites.One of the best TV bio's, if not the best. I wish it would come out on DVD...

Somebody should put the whole thing up on youtube, 'cause it doesn't look like a DVD will ever happen. Problem is, the whole thing is 4 hours long. I don't really have the time to load that many videos. I say start pestering elvis.com, and tell them to put it on DVD!!
