Hi there. You play beautifully! Was wondering if you were familiar with a website called SingSnap ? I'm not a promoter..just a member and I do sing on there. It's open to the public. Wish I knew how to private message you here...I'm new to youtube membership. Anyway, you can post traks there and get a following, and if you leave your trak open for duets then others can sing with them. Maybe you are already on the site...and if you are, please let me know your username there so I can come listen.

started my first lessons in the 2nd grade, probably haven't gone a day since without at least noodling....

You have a soul/ blueish sound to your playing. How long have you been playing anyway?
Is that a gibson falcon? I should have kept the one I had, had a intense clean sound.

good call. yes it is....a 1954. it laid around a shop i worked at for years until one day i plugged it in and realized what it was. (the logo is all worn out). i don't take it out anymore, use it just to record. did you know howard roberts based his Benson amps on these......
they are hugely underrated and overlooked, and i wish gibson would re-issue them.

my tribute to the late, great, Howard Roberts.

@sidethehead A good friend of mine named Warren Sedberry from the southeast US, a noted photographer and jazz guitar player, got to know Howard through some seminars he attended. He took some great photos of HR and learned a lot from him as many did through the years.

thanks, @Zepster77 . i learned about H.R. from my teacher in n.y,, howard morgen, years ago when he recommended the Chord Melody Guitar Manual, one of my favorite books. His albums, like "Jaunty jolly", :Goodies", and 'Howard Roberts is a dirty Guitar Player', are among my favorite albums ever. fun, brilliant and awesome sidemen like shelly manne. Pretty much my favorite player outside of the rock genre. Also the top studio guitarist of his day, including the twilight zone riff!
