The Lead, featuring Tamia Arbuckle on lead vocals and guitar, performing the song "You Don't Know" (Shroeder-Hawker). This track finds the band in a transitional period where they were replacing their original lead guitarist Mark Elder with Alan Merrill, who joined the band to complete this album "Sound Of Silence" on RCA records.
All of the band took turns singing lead vocals on record.
Bass guitar Phil Trainer and drums Alan Hill on this sparse and charming track, a song which was originally a 1961 hit for British legend Helen Shapiro.
Tamia Arbuckle is now a Scientologist living in California and in the eighties co-wrote the music to the album "Battlefield Eearth" with L. Ron Hubbard.

  • This song was originally released in 1961and was a UK #1 by Helen Shapiro and you can hear how this song influenced the Beatles songwriting. Tamia has a charming voice and sounds as heartbrokenas the lyric conveys. Thanks for sharing this interesting rarity.
