Rejected John 3:16 Super Bowl Commercial - LookUp 316

John 3:16 is part of the culture of football. We occasionally see it on signs in end zones after field goals and extra point attempts; on players' tape and tattoos; and Tim Tebow was famous for writing it in his eye black. And yet, many fans don't know what it means. They have yet to be touched by the hope it offers - the immediate relevance it has to their lives.

The original goal of LookUp 316 was to air a national commercial during Super Bowl XLV on February 6th, 2011. When the organization took this idea to Fox Sports, host network of this year's Super Bowl, they rejected the commercial on the basis that it contained "religious doctrine."

Fixed Point will now be airing this commercial in Alabama during this year's Super Bowl on February 6th, 2011.

I don't think so sir, for only a fool would be led to think that wasn't a message straight form the Lord God himself to my question, answered not even a minute later..

@volcommane but when God intered my life I was stunned by the fact that he actually speaks to me.. I remember asking my Dad a question when I was a little younger when we were reading the Bible. "Dad, does it bother God for people to call preechers father, when they aren't the father of everything but rather the delieverer of his word" My dad responded back to me " I don't know son" but I put on my life not even a minute after I asked him that the Bible spoke..

@volcommane It has nothing to do with "seeing is believing" and everything to do with whther or not something can be proven. I no more believe in your god or my soul than I do the tooth fairy, leprechauns or unicorns.

I do not have faith. I have knowledge. There is a massive difference.

@volcommane that your real if they didn't believe in you from the beginning? No because it's wasted time, but if you sir call on God to come in your heart and let you see everything we true believers see, which is him and the fact that he is here to help us escape from eternal punishment, you will be surrounded by his love and power that you will put down and put away all evil thoughts and hostility.. I have found inner peace with myself though God. I used to be very very angry and depressed..

@KamekoBruns You do have a soul sir! You as well as everyone else has a soul, It's what, and who you are, not something "you have to see to believe". The problem with society today is they go off of "seeing is believing" when your innner faith is what will stray you from good and bad situations, as well as good and corrupted things in life. If you truly believe there is no God, no Christ, or soul, you will never see him, for God is on his own time.. and think would you want to prove to someone

@volcommane I have no hatred for you. Only pity and the hope that one day you will free yourself of the mental disease that is faith. How can my "soul" be corrupt if there is no such thing as a soul to begin with?
