Played on A picc (Selmer). Version in one go suffers from slight mishaps in last phrase, should have uploaded edited version perhaps...

  • amigo, intenta tocar un poco mas continuo, no kortes las notas, se que estas empezando, pero podrias ir corrigiendo los primeros errores, suerte

  • @MegaF10 Yes, right on, this comes from not good enough nor continuous air support, I should work on better air supply...

  • Selmer Piccolo is fantastic, I'm playing it, too. You can get a deep sound, if you want, almost like a large trumpet.

  • Yes, I agree, although intonation and resistance are trade-offs compared to Scherzer or Schilke piccs. But I definitely prefer the Selmer sound!

  • Intonation and resistance of my Selmer Piccolo are very good. Maybe it's a different model. Concerning baroque pieces the sound is not as cutting as a smaller mensure fitted Scherzer or Burbank etc. It depends on the sound idea of the conductor. I think I wouldn't play the "music for royal fireworks" on it but "the trumpet shall sound" of Messias for example

  • Pas mal ! ;)
