I've been playing distorted AC on my PC for 6 months with the ps2->usb converter and what I never realised this whole time was that there was a slight LAG in the converter.
When I started playing Distorted AC with my computer keyboard my scores increased 20k-30k!
Unless you're tech-savvy enough to nullify the latency / lag, stick with PS2.

P4 2.4 GHz, 256 MB of main memory and Windows XP only, not Vista because the crack is incompatible with anything else but the XP kernel.

That's as far as I know correct. On another forum I saw someone claiming to have DistorteD running on a Vista laptop, but with off sync problems and no video's showing. I don't know how he or she did it, but on my Vista I only managed to get it running, but without controls. Now I changed back to XP and it runs flawlessly in my opinion. Also use ffdshow and Stormcodec, or else it might crash while loading the intro.
