George Psomiadis - Empty chairs at empty tables (2009)

This is the second song and video from my new demo that I did during the summer (2009). It is the song "Empty chair at empty tables" and is part of the musical "Les Miserables".

The song is about individuals who tried to change the world, to make it a better place and who have passed away. I decided to make this video as a tribute to their memory, by projecting a number of artists who stood up for the same idea. I admire the artists who are included in this video, some for their talent, and other for the tragic life they had. They appeared somehow in my life and influenced me, both as a person and as an artist.
These artists tried to give pleasure and happiness to people but they were deeply wounded, felt sadness and suffered from loneliness in their lives.

You have a lovely voice, although, you should work a bit on pronouncing English better ("there's a grief that can't be spoken"). Also, singing is not about just being on pitch- it's about a mixture of feelings as well. This is a very hard song to pull off emotionally, but with a bit more training and realization of the song, you'll be truly great!
