Still not 100% on this one yet so it's a little loose/sloppy in places but, still really fun! Stuff used:

Ibanez RG1527
Line6 POD X3 + FBV

  • Hey Paul, big fan of your music \m/

If i may, how would you compare the thinness of the RG1527 neck versus the neck of an S7420? I have an S7420 and absolutely adore the neck. Im a huge fan of thin flat necks. Ive been considering saving up for an RG1527. Is it along the lines of an S7420?

Thanks for your time and continue making kickass music :D

  • Thanks very much man! :) I haven't owned/played that guitar I'm afraid, but I can say that the neck on the 1527 is very flat. It's a little chunkier than other RG 7's I've played but it kinda makes the guitar feel more solid IMO. I absolutely love my 1527. Highly recommend it. Plus, yours could be in white!! Which would make me insanely jealous...

  • Oh fuck I'm just jizzing at the sick asss djent grooves that you come up with. Keep them coming man !!!!!

  • A slightly unexpected side effect but hell...as long as I get no splashback, it's all fine by me!! There's plenty more grooveness on the way, and some good news to come on the site very soon. Thanks for checking it out!!

  • certainly lives up to its name lol. AMAZING!!!

  • Cheers mate - I was going to change it to something a bit more "serious" but it kinda took on this character and the name just seemed to fit. It's reckless and regretful at the same time *nods*. S'the idea anyway hehe.

  • how pissed off does he look when the fireworks go off haha! I have a similar problem when recording but it's the bloody boy racers outside.

  • great riffage!

the failed attempts are great too, you are so calm until the door slam.

    chimp for the win!

  • This song gets to me everytime, this one and the Mirror, fuckin brilliant compositions.

  • cool. i hope its downloadable. as i'm guessing purchasing off your site i'd have to wait for it to be shipped to the u.s.

i was hearing some very petrucci esque stuff going on is why i said that. but you do a hell of a job. a style all your own!

  • Thanks very much! That's most definitely the aim of the project - it's a hard balance to strike but I'm glad it's not gone unnoticed! Cheers! :]

  • Holy mackerel! Dynamics in metal! Sick grooves. Very musical.
