Specs:
Weight: 16 oz.
Thickness: 2.75mm
Blade: 13 Inches
Overall: 18 Inches
Handle: Polypropylene

Buy this! For real, great deal!
Cheap and effective! Beast mode guaranteed.

Only problems I have:
1) Blade is sorta thin, not the best for batoning wood, but it still works fine
2) Soft metal blade. I understand the need for a knife that can take repeated blows and not crack or chip, but this metal doesn't have enough rigidity to hold something like a razors edge.
3) Polypropylene checkers cause massive blisters after long periods of use. Wear gloves and/or paracord wrap it.

paint it black - The Rolling Stones

  • could u cut someones head off with it ? ( soon as u got it , before u sharpned it?)

  • @TheiTouchGuys Not before I sharpened it. In its current sharpness it could do some serious damage, ive never cut off a head before but I'm sure you could

  • @sgtclam Actually, The duller the blade the more chance you have of cutting a limb off lol

  • @TheHunterHatfield Ive heard that in WWI, trench knives were "dull" at the tip so they would deflect off bones rather than get stuck in them. Is that the same reason?

  • @Vi3tSurvivalist2012 no your thinking of the cold steel gurkha kukri, which is not an authentic kukri, the real ones are about maybe 50 to 100, but nothing over 200, i love cold steel, they make a great knife, but they are way over priced,

  • @carlyle0229 isnt that like $200 more?

  • lulz, I hit a brick. BAD IDEA :P

  • @sgtclam did you melt the end of the paracord of did you use somekind of glue for it?

    it looks awesome.

  • that machete sucks, the ghurkha kukri is way better

  • All Cold Steel machete blades are of 1055 carbon steel, which is pretty good however ALL blades come with an UTILITY edge= somewhat DULL, I believe they do it to protect themselves from legal troubles, the utility edge will do quite a few chores but I believe most buyers will get their machetes a bit sharper, I have 8 so far and to a 1 came on the dull side, now they are quite the opposite BTW the Katana machete is just GREAT! Try one!

  • could you post a video of how you sharpened it? im having a little bit of trouble, thanks

  • @sgtclam trench knifes were more of a spike design, as they were meant to be driven though the helmet and into the brain, so no the tip would not be dull. of course there are more conventional knife variant as well.
