Good times. I remember getting this game at night when it was out. My came withe the poster. Even the person I bought from Crazy X Games was a fan of that game. I played this game each day as if there was no end to this awesome quest.

@AaronsGame Depends how hard is to get the SNES-version. I'd recommend to get the emulator and download the SNES-version, because Frog's dialogue is much better, kinda "old-english"-type of speaking.

@JosephVictorian Frog's real name is Glenn, you knew that? And as a word "Kaeru" means "Frog".

@thatappletree it's the original SNES-graphics. 16-bit graphics were still used in 1995, because SNES couldn't ran any better than that. If they changed the graphics for the remastered version, it would've taken too much time and the fans of the old version would've got mad.

lol this is the reason they cancelled the fan made pc version wich was going to be 100x better than this in full fledged 3D search chrono trigger ressurection damn. They feared that really good fanmade 3D game would affect they're sales of a port. i alrdy played this in snes and psx i wanted to play the fanmade 3D version. Square-Enix is so unfair. :|

I have to say, that when the creators of Final Fantasy, Dragontale/Dragon Quest, and Dragonball Z got together to make this game, each a grand master in their own rights, This has got to be..The greatest rpg of them all in the console with a storyline that none have yet to meet. I'm glad to have played the original snes version, and will play the DS version.
