Glass Blowing-Borosilicate Handles

Http://www.CustomCarving.org Custom Carving offers handmade borosilicate (better known as pyrex) glass knobs and handles, the strongest glass type with one of the most exciting color palettes known. Handles are the functional component of any furnishing and their comparatively small investment makes all the difference in the feeling of its use and beauty as a whole. We custom make handles for individual furnishings to entire kitchens in any color, texture, size, or style. These handles will never break or become loose, craftsmanship guaranteed. We use these handles exclusively with our work in a variety of styles (unless otherwise requested) in order to raise the level of craftsmanship of each furnishing that we produce. They are made on the torch in the Custom Carving studios by use of a unique, time tested technique for which I have yet to see elsewhere in the world. We make each handle directly onto a threaded pole, which is then properly cooled in the kiln to assure its longevity. The pole is cut to size and a rubber washer is provided to dampen the friction between the glass handle and wood door. The handles are easily installed into 3/8" hole with provided capped nut.
