This is sure a blast from the past. It must be at least 40 years since I've heard it. Thanksso much for the post.

Wow! This Stereo mix is amazing. Best I have ever heard for this song. What CD did this come from? I have a stereo version of this song too, but it is nowhere nearly as wonderful as this one! Can you please tell me where you got this mix?

Where can I find the stereo mix of this? I've only found it in mono or (lousy) fake stereo..

I'm having a "Listen to all your videos" day today...
Big hug for all your hard work and for posting the Velvelettes.

Thank you for sharing this video. I had never heard of the Velvelettes before hearing them on this montage of images.

Hi John, this song was released in UK on TMG 521. Very hard to find.

Thanks MotownMagic1959...it was through "Northern Soul" on line here that I (finally) found the Carolyn Crawford records that I Loved so much as a kid...could never find them before...so now we've got a great soul singer who's moved over here now (Atlanta GA) but is a native of Birmingham England. Her name is Julie Dexter (heard of her?)and she's marvelous...does she qualify as "Northern Soul"? or is she too new and too young?
love this track one of my favourites, long live northern soul, thanks for posting

Thanks Di, I never thought of Motown as Northern Soul but it's probably because I live in Brighton, East Sussex, and I'm so old now! ;-) glad that Northern Soul clubs have kept i all going for so many years of course.

OK maybe this is a dumb question and as an American obviously a lot of our music qualifies...so what exactly IS "Northern Soul"

I can answer this sonwamac, it refers to the North of England (I live in the south, in Brighton) for very many years now people from there had been collecting Soul(R&B) rarities including Motown, I'm not surprised you wouldn't know what "Northern Soul" was, but some of the 45rpm singles are now worth quite an amount of money! I've been a fan of Motown since they started in 1959!! so it's been a lifetime, and I still like every sound :-) Hope this makes it clearer for you now. JOHN
