BMW E36 Interior Amber to Blue LED conversion (1 of 3)

EXPAND COMMENT as links below. UPDATE 09/09/10 I finally sourced some similar switch LEDs and soldered one on as a test. Not perfect but the video just shows the effect I got. I bought around 50 but there are only 8 to change (10 if you want to change the red temperature adjuster also. Watch video 3 for the better blue effect

OLD COMMENT: just the first LED so I could see what it looks like. That's the hardest LED over and done with IMO as the rest should be easier. It's a lighter blue than the original blue from the temperature switch. You can also see it's brighter but even so it's not blinding but the brightness is dull due to camera so it looks as if the amber is really dull when it's not. See video response for video #3 for a better video and to see it dimmer with darker shade of blue.

so what kind of LED did u put behind there? and where can i get it?? and i assume tht all the button are the same type/size LED
