This is a tutorial on how to fix a tethered iPod that goes into recovery mode when turned off.
Works for: Blackrain tethered jailbroken iPods..

Can anyone message me if you know how to un-brick an iphone 3gs 3.1.2 firmware, i keep getting this 1020 error & should i downgrade it & how do i do that, king regards jamie151994.

Actually, I found the solution: get the iPod back into recovery mode (hold the home and power buttons for 10 seconds), then just run blackra1n again to reboot it. Problem solved. :)

plug it in to pc then leave it for a while, then itunes should detect it then follow these steps. Or try hard reseting: keep your finger on home and on lock button and hold for a bit. thanks

My iPod Touch (firmware 3.1.2) is in DFU mode and blackra1n doesn't seem to recognize it. Any suggestions?
