Whatever You Like(A Nick Jonas One Shot)

(Julia's P.O.V)

("Julia! Your lunch break's over! Start working the register!" yelled my manager, Lucy. I rolled my eyes and threw my food away. I slipped on my vest and walked to the cashier desk. I put on the best smile I could and looked up at the customer. He was wearing a hat and a pair of dark sunglass. It was hard to see his face though he looked oddly familiar.)
JULIA: Hello, welcome to McDonald's. May I take your order?
CUSTOMER: Yeah, can I get a quarter pounder and a large diet coke?
JULIA: Sure. Would you like anything else?
CUSTOMER: I'd like to know your name.
(He titled his glasses down and I instantly recognized him, Nick Jonas. I smiled and nodded.)
JULIA: It's Julia.
NICK: That's a very pretty name.
(I blushed.)
JULIA: Thanks.
(I smiled once more before taking his order to the fry cooks. Around 4 minutes later, his order was ready. I took the bag of food and handed it to him.)
JULIA: Here you go.
NICK: Thanks.
(He handed me the money and walked away. I unfolded the money and a small white paper came out. I picked it up. I looked at it and it had his number scribbled on it. Oh. My. Gosh. The Nick Jonas just gave me his number! I smiled really wide and tucked it into my pocket.)
(All day I waited for 6 'o clock to come around. When the hour finally reached, I threw my vest off and ran to my car. I drove as fast as I could back to my house. I walked inside and walked to my room. I took out both my phone and his number. Before dialing, I paused. Should I wait a while longer? What if he doesn't answer? What if this isn't his number? Oh, whatever. I worked up the courage and slowly, I dialed his 7 digit number. The phone rang, and rang, and rang. That's it he's not picking up. I was about to hang the phone up when...)
NICK: Hello?
JULIA: Uh, Nick?
NICK: Yes.
JULIA: Hey, this is um, Julia. Remember?
NICK: Hey Julia. I've been waiting for your call.
JULIA: Really?
NICK: Yeah, I actually wanted to ask you if you'd like to go out sometime.
JULIA: Totally. When?
NICK: Whenever you like.
JULIA: Tomorrow?
NICK: Sure.
(Nick was surprisingly easy to talk to. We talked till 2 in the morning. The next day I woke up excited. I couldn't wait for the date. He gave me complete control of when and where the date could be. I asked to see if we could have a dinner at his apartment and he agreed. I spent the whole day getting ready. Around 7, there was a knock at my door. I answered it and a man was at my door.)
MAN: I'm here to drive you. Mr. Nick sent me.
(I looked behind him and there was a limo. I smiled and walked out the door. I got in the limo. I've never been in a limo before. Wow, this is wow. The limo came to a stop and soon the driver opened my door. I stepped out and there was Nick. I walked over to him and he gave me a hug.)
NICK: You look nice.
JULIA: Thank you.
(He led me to his backyard where he had set up dinner. He pulled my chair out for me and I sat down thanking him. He sat across from me and smiled,)
NICK: I hope you like it.
JULIA: Well, it does look good.
(We began to eat and the conversation started. We talked about mainly his life and later he asked me a question.)
NICK: Julia, in a couple days, I'm going to the VMA's. How would you like to go with me?
JULIA: What? Seriously?
NICK: Yeah, tomorrow I can take you shopping for something nice to wear and everything.
JULIA: Oh my, I um, sure.
NICK: Great.
(The days with him flew by. He took me shopping at so many stores that I would never be able to afford. I felt so spoiled, none of my ex boyfriends would have been able to do this for me. Nick got me things I didn't even need. He was wasting his money like nothing. It was like he had a bank in his pocket. The day before the VMA's, we took Nick's private jet to get there.)
(The VMA's were crazy. People were taking pictures left and right. The experience was so much fun. We got back to the hotel at around 3 in the morning. We cuddled up in bed and I instantly fell asleep.)
(........."Julia! Julia!" I came back to reality and I was holding the white piece of paper in my hands, turns out it was just a receipt he left rolled up in the money.)
