3:00 I would highly advise against that configuration (arms pointed up). If your hand slips, that camera is going DOWN. If the arms are down, your thumbs will stop the camera from falling to its doom.

@LJtutorials Thanks! ill probably be making a diy slider over the summer. I dont know if it will be as cheap as this build was, but ill try to keep it low and upload a video of it for you guys!

that was a perfect design...well done mate. the follow focus thing was really cool too. i will make one for myself. but what was that thing attached to your clamp? was that a pipe? also, what settings do you use for the t2i when you are shooting indoors, like you did while demonstrating the test footage?

@usayantang the attachment to the clamp was just a short segment of rubber tube. And for the settings indoor I try to use the lowest aparture i can, for this it was f/3.5 and then adjust the shutter speed to around 50 if im shooting at 24 frames per second. I adjust the iso last so that there is a decent amount of light, but as little grain as possible. I hope this helps!
ps. I recently added a 4 pound weight to the rig and it really helps make it stable.
