Storyline: After the Doctor left Jack in "The Parting of the Ways," Jack travels to watch Rose grow up. However, one day when Rose is about 18, she sees him and talks to him. Against his better judgement, he begins a relationship with her and they decide to get married. Jack still works for Torchwood and was out on a mission the day before the wedding. While on the mission he dies, permanently. Rose is devastated. Shortly after, she meets the Doctor when he saves her from the Autons and she decides to travel with him.
The bluish clips are the past, black and white is present, and the yellowish ones are the future memories that never came true

While traveling with the Doctor, she visits London while Jack is there. To her surprise she discovers that a younger version of the dead man she loves has saved her from falling to her death
