I am an American who understands your concern about maintaining a distinct culture. In Europe, I wanted to see "the Old World"...not the same fast-food joints we see here.

You have to be passionate about your culture and make it survive.

Here, we fight corporations (like Wal-Mart) which destroy small-town businesses.

Make your citizens aware that Americans love and respect cultural differences.

Coz while being in the USA lots of times I've heard from americans something like: I love America, so I don't want to know ANYTHING about other countries, culutures, whatever." It's wierd.

Are these OUR RUSSIAN problems? Ha, do you really think Putin is the one to blame for the americanisation of the world? Coz Russia, and Moldova as well, are examples of how your "culture" (do you really call hamburgers and Britney Spears culture?) integrate into our countries only because you have money to promote it. You made me laugh indeed.

Yes, we CAN vote! And please stop regarding Putin as a dictator, you don't know much about him if you say so! Since America is a country of immigrants, it's crucial to consider other cultures. Secondly, many indigenous ethnicities WITHIN the USA are likely to lose their cultural identity too. And finally, can you imagine YOUR life without elements of other cultures? I bet you can't. And now just think that your grandchildren might be deprived of them.
