This tutorial is a more sophisticated version of one of my older styles, 'the flower-inspired side-ponytail'. It basically has the same structure but there are additional steps to this look. This hairstyle can be fashioned with either a flower or a headband — depending on your personal preference.

For the flower I had in this particular tutorial, it is made of ribbon and there is a small clip attached in the back. It can be easily be replicated or purchased at a craft store — there are all sorts of wonders lurking in the creativity section.

If you would like a tutorial on some of the upcoming hair accessories that will be featured in the future videos — please, inform me by leaving a comment.

Also, thank you for watching and subscribing to this channel — I will try my best to teach and create different hairstyles on YouTube.

  • I always love your tutorials, Rei.

Since you have a new channel, will you still be using the old one?

  • @loveeminuszero Yes, I will be using my old channel for other miscellaneous things like vlogs and etc. For the time being, I am just focusing on filming and editing all of the new content that I have learned this last year or so. I really want to make it up to my subscribers for being away for so long — and so, here we are at a new start.

  • You know, you really remind me of Amanda Seyfried.

    Like, your facial structure...

  • @vivasinclaire It is very strange... I have been told that quite often — especially, when I smile.

  • Hey Rei I am glad you are back, you look great and healthy! I missed your videos as they are unique and creative. I am curious..what bristle brush do you use? I too have very long hair and have not found a great brush yet

  • @anonamemiss The brush that I am using in this video — I believe it is from Goody. I am not too sure, I got it when I was in America. Personally, I prefer the plastic bristle rather than the boar bristle — they tend to hurt my scalp. Best of luck on finding the perfect brush.
