Trio Los Tainos

This video was shot on my digital camera so the quality is not that good, but the quality of the music is fantastic! The trio were busking in the cathedral square in Barcelona. I went back a couple of weeks later and they were there again, but this time surrounded by a big crowd of very appreciative listeners and dancers!

Thanks Carl for this video. The real name of this Trio is "Trio Los Tainos". I bought the CD in Barcelona on febrary 2008. They made very good music!

They called their band Tainos but their not Taino indians they're Africans brought to the Carabbians by no other them Mr Christopher Columbos himself. Their just trying to rob the Tainos culture. Their just imposters in black skin.

They are wonderful trio! Have seen them performing live in Barcelona last year. Bought two CDs with their songs and listen to them often. Fantastic music.

one of the few street bandsthat still play proper traditional spanish/latin music, really lovely music
