I have to kids and I love a lot my 1st I didn't know I was pregnant till 5 months I was only 17 at the time never did I look up abortions and my 2 nd I actually made appointment and went in the doors walked wright out with a smile on my face..now I have to adorable kids that I can't live with out :-)

The mother or father of the child you should keep your words to yourself. What happens when that woman is so pressured by people like you that she is guilted into having that child? I'm honestly very surprised at the amount of people who throw religion and the word "sin" in others' faces when it comes to abortion. I am 20 weeks pregnant and very excited about having a baby. @live4life17 I'm not trying to be rhetorical or condescending, by the way. I just, sincerely, don't see it... I really don't see how killing a living sperm cell, on it's way to the egg, is any different than killing an embryo, when the sperm cell slips by. Both are, forcefully, ceasing a potential life from potentially existing one day. Also, the sperm is just as consciously aware as the embryo will EVER be (which is not at all, aware.)

@live4life17 Having sex using contraceptives (birth control/condoms/etc,) basically, kills the sperm and the egg individually. So people who perform safe sex are, by force of human intervention, forcefully preventing a potential life from being created; one that (without contraceptives) COULD have become an embryo, at one point. So, it's 'fine' to kill the sperm and egg individually (to prevent an embryo,) but it's 'murder' to kill the embryo (to prevent a fetus...?) Strange...

@earlysda Now your distorting my words for your benefit, I never said that "people getting killed have no effect on your life." Perhaps embryos, in your misguided mind, are "people" but, by definition & logic, an embryo is NOT a person. It's, infallibly, a person in development. BUT, having said that, no. Other than emotionally, strangers having abortions and strangers dying have zero effect on your life. Example: over 150,000 people died today. Now that you know, what's changed?

@earlysda This is starting to become pathetic... No, you haven't shown anything but, by all means, do so. I wouldn't ever try and force a woman to abort her embryo or not, I think it's only a decision she can make. Explain how that, specifically, is "enforcing my morality" on her. Again, actually read my response this time, that's not my "foundational argument against abortion"(as you put it.) That just means that: I think it's wrong to force people to do what I want them to do.
