Falun Gong is practised all around the world - people from 70 different countries practice. That's a lot of different ethnicities. But within China its mainly ethnic Chinese. Its principles are based on very traditional Chinese concepts rooted in Buddhism, Daoism and Confucianism. It deeply resonated with Han Chinese people as well. It's not so much a religion, there is no church or temple and no worshiping. It's a way of life - a way to improve your character and spiritual perspective.

Ever heard of "Green Dam Youth Escort"? It is software that the CCP recently installed in all computers after July 2009. It automatically blocks websites that the CCP deosn't want Chinese people to see - information on their abuse of Chinese. The CCP wants to block Chinese people from the truth to keep their power. If you have grown up in China you have only heard their side of the story, and their lies. "insider" Chinese people are the most affected because they can't get access to the truth.

Yeah, absouletely they are victims by evil communist party. It's more than a religion. Most of Falun Gong are other ethnic groups other than han chinese. The han chinese weren't large numbers in the past, but this ethnic group grew population reached to more than 91% total current population while the rest of ethnic nations (54+ different ethnics) made up only less than 10%. ??

The real issue here is that the CCP is paranoid because it knows its system is fundamentally weak and unstable, it only has the appearance of stability through forced oppression. This is why it uses so many resources on controlling information in China, censorship, propaganda, spies, and the violent persecution of innocent people. They feel that anything could be a threat because people don't trust them anymore and they are losing influence fast. This year had a record # of protests in China.

Ok so lets assume that you are right, Falun Gong pratice peace and tell people only the truth. What do you expect the CPP will do? When you get politically involved in a government controlled state, prepare to have your ass kicked. Get real.

Actually they are all persecuted in China. Just this week there was a huge crackdown on Muslim Uiyghurs and over a hundred people were killed by police. Christian churches in China must be "sanctioned" by the government which means they include some CCP "patriotic" propaganda. Other real Christian churches go underground. Also the crackdown on Tibetan Buddhists. Falun Gong has always been peaceful and only told people the truth. I am not criticizing Chinese people, only the CCP, who is lying.

YOU may examine history again, it doesn't matter what a cult pretend to teach in their books, is what they do that define them. If Falun Gong are only practicing peace they would not be outlawed. The fact is that they use their teaching to influence people to stand up against the state that brought CCP wrath upon them. If Jiang Zemin is jealous of religious popularity alone, he would destroy buddhism, muslim and christian WAY before Falun Gong.

They actually desperately do not want to be involved in politics. Falun Gong was freely practiced in China for 7 years before Jiang Zemin got jealous of its popularity and decided to destroy it. The CCP spread propaganda to justify this fact and cover up their crimes. You may examine history, and Falun Gong books, which clearly say that peace comes from inside, no politics will ever change the human heart. They have never ever used violence, only appealed for freedom and justice.

No not everyone knows that. Falun Gong are hippies who want to do politics. That's a no no right there. Yeah sometimes sacrifices are necessary so peace can reign. That's all.
