@YOVTVBEjunkee could be that it was the year of her 12th birthday but she was still 11, sometimes you're referred to as "older" than you are because of how many years you've lived, not exact amount of days.

Fathers don't know their kids age...my dad loves me to death but he doesnt know if im 20 or 22 or 18. In his mind I'll always be 4.

@tokerhoho Slight correction. Siblings may yell at each other like this all the time. Perhaps when they are young. But not a father to his young daughter. If you call this good parenting...did your father beat you and intimidate you into acting right? If so I feel sorry for you. And no, I'm not some liberal fluff who thinks spanking is against human rights and kids should be sheltered and coddled. Far from it. But great parenting can still be accomplished much more constructively than this.

He's acting little a total ass. There is a complete difference between a good parent "straightening out" their child and his aggressive, insulting rant here. You do NOT speak to your 11-12 year-old child like this. If you or Alec want to see how it's done, take a goddamn parenting class.

This isn't child abuse... you guys have been sheltered and put in the corner/had your allowance taken away too many times. Good parents straighten out their children when they misbehave and she's rebelling because she's a pre-teen. I'm on Alec's side... although he could have toned down the name calling. Family members do it to each other all the time in anger and only family forgive easily.. that's why they're family.
