Yes "brilliant, fabulous, and gorgeous" is pretty horriffic. Cant think of anything i would less want to be. I let it under the wire cause most would want to be so.
I agree with pretty much everything you have said.
After 4 decades of observation i conclude that people in general ie like 80%
will, as Schopenhauer suggested, do anything to avoid thinking.
I spent many years on forums trying to educate. Maybe in but one or two cases i made a difference.

The connection between the two main parts of the vid is a common one in SF.
The religious aluusions in akeela and bee par is superfluous.
It is about fear .Fear that we ar so small and reality is so big.
What can we possibly do to effect such a thing that cannot be even fit in mind.
We dont.. we define it one person at a time.
For that is why it is there
