I dont think so.. I doubt you can create more force with an upward knee drive than you could pushing down against the ground with your foot. I think one footed jumping may make it easier to trasfer your foward momentum upwards because it is a smoother motion, but i see some great dunkers go off one and some off two. idk whats up man.
In theory should you be able to jump higher off one or two feet? Ive seen some dunkers who prefer two feet and some(like this dude) who prefer one. High jumpers obviously use one foot but it seems to me that if you use two feet you could get more force, right? If anyone knows please reply.
I wouldnt be suprised if his running vertical is higher than 56." In some of these he is getting his head at least 6inches over the rim and those are while dunking. It is alot easier to jump without a ball and to not have to worry about making the correct angled jump to complete the dunk.
