RC plane flying over real plane into the clouds

My friend Daniel was trying to fly as high as he could in order to go in to the clouds. during the climb a real plane flew over us so e dived to reach the plane.
eventually the RC plane reached the clouds at almost a mile high (estimated) & than started gliding down for landing.

Was there an airport close-by?The real plane seemed awfully slow!

there are no airports in the area we fly the RC planes.

the RC plane flies very fast, we measured 200 Km/h in a straight fly by with a GPS. i think that in dives like in the video it got to much higher speeds & much faster than a Cessna 172.

how was he able to see the plane from ground level???

I was asking my self the same question when I was with him. I guess he has a very good eye site since I couldn't see the plane at those heights. He is also a very experienced flier.

As you can see in the video there are times he goes in to a spin, that is when he losses eye contact with the plane & spinning takes the plane down & creates a reflection from the sun so it is easy to detect it once again.

In 6:01 minutes into the video you can see a real Cessna flying under the RC plane.

It is a Pilatus with an OS 46.

the camera is a 40$ HD video pen we got off Ebay.

HAHAHAHA, you should of flew next to the guy in the real plane. He woulda been like W.T.F is that a mini pilot in a mini airplane?

very impressive! great video too! how much do one of these cameras run for?? im just starting to get into rc planes and i love it! good work!
