The Beatles were just a marketing product, see all the bullshit behind like McCartney's death, the cd covers, sublime messages and all the crap...Rolling Stones never needed that...and plus if they couldn't make any good music how come that after more than 45 years they're still there?

you people are on acid the beatles were way ahead of the stones no comparison, the stones are a glorified garage band jagger can't sing past 1976, nor can they make a good lp except for "Some girls" everythg else was mediocre to poor the beatles & the who & led zep (add pink floyd & yes & its a party)..once Brian left that was it for the stones, that was the only time they were great was w/ Brian.. sorry stones phanatics thats the way i see it..every list every vote beatles are #1

Correct Jakejumpover...even the last few albums are better than most of what todays groups put out. ABB was a great album, but rock is pretty much dead so it got no airplay .....Vodoo Lounge was, imo, their best album in their latter years.

i too like the stones more but i wouldnt as far as to say "far better" even though i enjoy the stones so much more. the stones have way more songs and thats not even including the ones from the last two decades
