Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon 2009 - Records Set in Mens & Women's Marathon

http://www.runningskirts.com The 20th Anniversary of the 2009 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon was a huge success. Over $1.8 million raised for charity. New Canadian marathon record set by defending champ Kenneth Muguara of Kenya 2:08:32 and race record for women's marathon winner Amane Gobena 2:28:31. Krista Duchene was top Canadian in the women's marathon and the half marathon was won by Bernard Langat of Kenya and Megan Brown of Toronto won the women's half marathon event. Over 20,000 runners particpated this year's events ( marathon, half marathon and 5k ) Team running skirts was there to show support and congratulations to everyone that participated in the 2009 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon.
