"Still Here...." An original song about losing a loved one by Marcello Nine

Losing a loved one is a life altering experience that can be extremely hard to cope with, for me writing this song helped with the healing process greatly, and i'm sharing it with you in hopes that it might do the same during your time of grief. I lost my parents a few months ago, and it is the most tragic thing that has occured in my life so far, but I keep reminding myself daily that if I keep them in my heart then they will always be here.... and until this day they are Still Here..... Thank you. My father is gone, my mother is very ill and in a nursing home. we have come so close to losing her again and again. Hospice has been called in. Since her last illness, I have had such great visits with her. See she has dementia...and great visits are hard to come by. I cannot think they are nothing less than a gift from God.....last days I have with her. I will forever treasure them. I have a compilation of songs for her funeral (at her request) I would like to know how to dwbkd urs.

This is a beautiful song. We just had to put our beloved k9 ( a wonderful member of our family of 6 years) down today. She was the beat of our heart. She was the one that brought so much happiness and joy to our home since she was a pup. Snickers will be greatly missed.

Hi Marcello, thank you for this wonderful song. I can really relate to the songwriting process helping you to come to terms with the loss of loved ones. My mom succumbed to cancer last year. My heart is so broke my mom died of cancer in 2008 and my dad in 2009 of cancer I miss them everyday everyday everyday I love the Lord but do not understand at all WHY did they have to die like that....They were married almost 63 years. I have no children they were all i had. My relationship with the Lord is not the same and I never thought I would happen to me because we were so close but now I am having a hard time trusting
