PART 1 OF 2. From 4-23-09. I'm surprised they left out the footage where she mistakenly gave critiques to 2 performances when the 2nd performance hadn't occurred yet. She explained that it was based on rehearsals, which the judges watch.

I agree with MollyMalloy. What pressure is Paula facing??? She was a cheerleader and performer so being "live infront of millions of ppl" is nothing new. In fact, all she does now is sit in a chair and say supportive things. So where is this alleged pressure?

And if it's so bad, why doesn't she just quit? She can start a foundation for young singers PRIVATELY. The reason is simple: she likes the publicity and easy money for doing no work. Doesn't everyone?

So? Does that mean that it's not a part of her history as a celebrity? Looks like you'd rather know a perfect fantasy of Paula rather than a real person, with all the good and bad. Having RSD does not preclude one from ALSO being an addict or alcoholic, or being drunk. They aren't mutually exclusive. In fact, people in pain are actually more susceptible to abusing drugs. BTW, your generalizations and exaggerations are laughable.

I agree with sillydumbblonde -- your post is ignorant and melodramatic. First, stop using exaggerations like "the worst pain recorded that has been suffered by human beings." Can you prove it? Second, learn Critical Thinking. My aunt has RSD/CRPS and her pain, when present, is only moderate. So don't automatically assume that Paula is a severe sufferer. Lastly, it's ILLOGICAL to assume that she couldn't be high or drunk even if she has RSD/CRPS.

@MissJessyeNorman Your claim is false. First of all, celebrities have used their afflictions, whether it be illness or addiction, to revive their careers. It's a well-known tactic among publicists. I can't think of ONE example where a career was ruined because of a non-transmittable illness in the last 20 years. If she is so concerned about the disease, why not start a charity for it, and work on that full time? It's clear that she rather have money and publicity.

@BriannaNoob all I am saying is that Paula is not drunk nor has she been high. I respect her an well I can't believe what you write because well how do I know that you work at a clinic or something. Now I don't have proof that Paula smokes or drinks but I believe her. Plus there were scars to prove that she had surgery and she has RDS. And that is not something that you can think off on top of your head.
