... or rather, a PART of Part Of Your World.

For the longest time, we avoided exposing Sophie to the story of Disney's The Little Mermaid. (Isn't it worrisome that children are shown princesses and princes hopelessly in love at the very first sight -- to the point that they would disobey their parents?)

Recently though, Sophie has been expressing her fear of Ursula from pictures she sees in other people's books or things. We finally read her the book and watched the movie with her to help her face her fear.

Last night, I found her on our bed with her legs slipped into a green pillowcase and singing Ariel's famous song (and a song I love to sing despite the movie's theme). Unfortunately, my camera ran out of memory towards the end of the song.

But here is the video anyway of our little singing mermaid :)
