کوفته غذای ایرانی است، کوفته در فارسی یعنی کوبیده ( پوره) و به انگلیسی یعنی مشد، ولی در زبان عربی معنی ای ندارد. اکثر غذاهای کشورهای ساحل خلیج فارس ایرانی است
