I don't know if any of them are gay... VK stars came up from the androgynous idea because it's cool and mysterious... it was out there since the early days of japan when there long haired guys with pretty faces on a girl's kimono but are actually cold blooded and skilled warlords that can kill some one effortlessly graceful. I think it actually goes the same way with japanese rockstars, i think for them, it is what we call "bad ass"
