  • its doesnt have a choke , no pattern , the bird was no more then 20 yards .. and yes i put the bead directly on his the back of his head

  • Not a good gun to take to the woods for gobblers bro ... I would use a bud's gun that's set up for turk's or you may just wound another one. They are tough birds and your gun needs to be set up right.

  • what shotsize do you recommend for 20 gauge? , i just shot a jake 2 hours ago with a fiocchi high velocity 1 oz #4 shot .. had no affect feathers everywhere and it ran

  • 1) Are you using a turkey choke, and did you pattern the gun?

    2) How far was the bird?

    3) Did you aim just for the head?

A 20 ga, will kill a turkey every day of the week ... if you know and respect the limitations of the load.

  • Great job guys! How far was that bird, holly cow! Keep it up!

  • Thanks man ... he was at about 40 ... don't like shootin' that far but we know we can when we need to.

We got 7 hunts on film this spring so stay tuned.

  • dam :[ , thanx for helpin out tho

  • I always use 3" or 3.5" #6's ... for a brand, I use Winchester High Velocity Supreme's. They have incredible power and amazing patterns ... I would also recomend a Carlson's turkey choke.

YOu can't go wrong with that combo.

  • I had the same deal last spring when I took my bird. They were in a field and not coming any closer. I got a little lucky and that always help when hunting Turkey!

  • Some music comes with the editing equipment and some you have to purchase.
