@aviafilmsproduction Indeed. I have only ever had to do one 121.500 call. It took them a while to respond. I think he may have been cleaning his coffee up as I made him jump with my Pan call. They must get quite bored there sometimes.

Is this over the UK? Reason I ask is that you have got 121.500 in the radio. Is it live or have you got it on the standby frequency?

@woodymmbbrr No, as far as I can recall this was not filmed over the UK. The 121.5 is set there as a standby frequency to monitor for any emergency traffic that might require assistance.

@aviafilmsproduction likewise, if the ATC is not able to contact you on the pre-defined frequency then they will try 121.5.
